Arista's Home Health Aides provide a number of different services for patients in their home. Home Health Aides assist with basic tasks such as bathing, feeding, and dressing. In addition, HHA's can monitor and remind patients to take their medication, assist with patients’ Physical and Occupational therapy exercises and, in general, provide much-needed companionship. Other duties an HHA may perform include light housekeeping, preparing meals for the patients, running errands and scheduling doctor appointments.
Arista Homecare provides Physical Therapy services in the patient's home. We believe Physical Therapy is a vital service that allows the elderly or disabled person to live in the comforts of their own home while ensuring the home remains a healthy and safe environment.
Physical therapists help patients maximize mobility and function, minimize pain, improve stability and learn proper use of needed equipment such as walkers, grab-bars, and wheelchairs.
Arista Home Care provides Speech Therapy services in the patients home. Arista Homecare Speech Therapists are trained at helping seniors recover or improve their communication skills, which is often minimized due to injury, stroke, and Alzheimer's.
Speech pathologists can also provide eating-related therapies, such as techniques to improve chewing or swallowing.
Arista Home Care Pediatric Program provides the highest quality home health services to our pediatric patients ages 3 - 18 years old. Similar to our geriatric program, our pediatric program offers Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapist, Nutritionists, Social Eorkers and Home Health Aides all in the comfort of one's home.
